We aim to collaborate with organisations that support and promote entrepreneurship and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for youth and women in the communities we work with.
These are effective pathways to poverty alleviation as it cultivates a high skilled workforce especially in a country such as Nigeria with a growing and dynamic youth population.
These programmes help expose youth to skills early on, nurtures their interest and talent and equip them for the growing market as SMEs. To support and develop communities which includes women and youth, the below empowerment programmes are planned:
These programmes aim to encourage women and youth to own nano, micro businesses and Small, Medium Enterprises (SMEs). To ensure its sustainability, we aim to collaborate and obtain support and funding from organisations in the private and public sector who will provide guidance, resources, opportunities and workforce support such as capacity building, access to finance and entrepreneurship/vocational training.
In September 2023, 5 women in the 2 communities we feed pupils were trained under our skills acquisition programme and today started their own nano catering business. We plan to provide further support and training to them to grow sustainability and across several states in Nigeria,
Support our nutrition, education, and empowerment programs (e.g. meals, educational materials, infrastructures, uniforms, skill acquisition trainings). Donating even a small amount could make a big difference.
